Fashion Show

The fashion show is one of the most anticipated highlights of A Night in Tokyo. Members of J-Club put forth a great deal of effort into bringing authentic Japanese fashion to Tampa. Our show tries to encompass all the colorful multi-faceted styles of Japan, from traditional kimonos to the colorful blends of Tokyo street style. Previous fashion shows have drawn a great deal of attention due to big name sponsors supporting the show such as Sunstate Academy and prominent fashion stylists Gosia Eberle and Amandia Reese Craig.

This year’s fashion show theme incorporates Japanese celebrities and their influences on fashion in Japan and around the world. Notable styles that will be included in this year’s theme are: lolita, visual kei, bosozoku, shironuri, and avant garde. Hair and makeup will be generously done by Sunstate Academy. This year’s lead stylist is Crystal Mejia.

We would also like to thank YesStyle.com, Tampa fashion stylist Crystal Mejia, Sunstate Academy, and Anarchist’s Closet for their generous contribution to this year’s fashion show.
